Students from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo and Chung Ang University in Seoul, participants in the 12th edition of Bergé and Compañía Internacional Talent Program, have returned home after five intense weeks in Spain where they have had the opportunity to work in different departments of the company and its divisions, as well as enjoying a complete program of cultural activities.
The ten participating students, six from the Japanese university and four from the Korean university arrived in Madrid at the end of January. After a first weekend of landing in our country and a presentation ceremony, the students went on to occupy positions in companies of the group, within the departments that correspond to their studies.
In parallel, trips were organized to different Spanish cities, such as Toledo, Salamanca or Ávila, as well as to the port of Bilbao, birthplace of Bergé y Compañía. These visits allowed them to know in detail, the origins of the company and of course, to deepen in the Spanish history and culture, and to enjoy its varied gastronomy.
On Friday, March 1, the award ceremony was held, attended by the students, their mentors, key program members and those who, thanks to their selfless collaboration, contribute knowledge about their respective professional areas to the young students.
The International Talent Program was born to strengthen the ties between Japan, Korea and Spain offering a unique and very enriching experience that will surely be unforgettable for the ten participants, as well as for the people who have been involved in the organization.
