BERGÉ GEFCO S.L., the new company, is 50% owned by the two partners and has received all the pertinents approvals and joins forces in the Spanish market in order to improve its commercial offer and develop new services. The company, after the ratification of the agreement between both groups, will be operative from next January 1, 2019 and will become a leader in finished vehicle logistics in Spain.
Combining its skills, experience and resources, BERGÉ GEFCO will increase significantly its transport and storage capacity for its customers. In this way, it will strengthen its value proposal for the Spanish market, which is among the largest in the world, with more tan 3 million vehicles produced per year.
Customers will benefit from 3.4 millions m2 of storage space in camps and ports with capacity to store more than 120.000 vehicles, as well as a fleet of more than 700 trucks and 100 freight cars to cover all the transport needs.

New services for an evolving market
BERGÉ GEFCO will offer a wide portfolio of logistics solutions to the current clients of both companies, which will allow them a better management of the volumes of activity, benefiting from exclusive resources. To satisfy the growing demand for speed and quality of service, the new company will pay special attention to innovation with the aim of developing solutions adjusted to the operational needs.
The new company will cover all the logistic needs of both, new and used vehicles. In the second hand vehicule sector, it will be the only supplier capable of managing all logistics and commmercial services with its own resources. Its solutions include transportatoin, warehousing, technical services, inspections, reconditioning, delivery, marketing, sales management (online, auctions, exports), administrative services and fleet management.
