Startup University organised the first edition of the Startup Premiére last 6th of March in Madrid, a “movie format” ceremony in which the guest stars were the most promising entrepreneurial initiatives in the national scene.

B4Motion was among the prizewinners this year for its innovative proposal within the scope of sustainable mobility and Smart Cities. B4Motion offers a unique proposal, focussing its investment activity on companies in these areas via its Venture Capital and also, thanks to its focus on trend research and analysis, creating Startups within the same ecosystem under the figure of its Venture Builder or LAB. B4Motion has an acknowledged role as a dynamic driving force behind the mobility ecosystem in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, boosting investment, growth and sustainability.

Startup Premiére is presented as a key event in the entrepreneurial ecosystem agenda. The 2018 edition was also attended by prestigious investors and professors of the Berkeley University School of Business, such as Amrit Dhir and Tina Baker, among others. Both were in Madrid due to the organisation of the Venture Capital Academy, a programme for the professionalisation of the venture capital sector that Startup University, with the support of the ICADE Business School, has managed to bring from Silicon Valley to Madrid.
Innovative Startups showing renowned development, such as Fintonic, Geoblink, Oarsis and Zeleros, were also awarded prizes at the ceremony.
